Wicked Ties by Shayla Black

 Welp.

There was some plot, more than other books that are filled with smut (lol). I actually enjoyed this, but it's one of those books (for me at least) that I just read a little bit of until I fall asleep. The premise is the the h has a stalker, H protects her, but it's done BETTER than most bodyguard romances that I've read. And you can feel the tension and the chemistry between them as if you were standing there.

So, I actually went back and finished this. I forgot to mark it as dnf- oopsies. Anyways, now I finished it, like I said. I thought it was interesting, but Jack was super controlling, and not in a hot, Rhys, kind of way. He kinda made me uncomfortable. And this was definitely non-con because she said no over and over again but he claimed that she really did want it. I don't know, maybe she did. It just always gives me the icks when the H tries to convince the h that she <i>actually</i> wants him to f- her. *Sigheth*

It's the way I can't read any real books but these rn because of my slump :(
